long nights spent in libraries poetry section. passing notes in history class written in classic languages. long overcoats flapping in the wind. tall buildings covered in ivy. looking up old rituals instead of doing your book report. studying for your tests only to be distracted by another subject. being way too into the classics. the rush of adrenaline after doing something very, very wrong. the lingering smell of coffee and a late night in your clothes. backpacks filled with books that are probably way overdue. lots of pens in a rainbow of colors. the constant contemplation of life and death. looking for new secret spaces in your school to hide in. exploring late at night and coming back with grass-stained knees. the look of red velvet against dark oak wood. the color schemes of gold, marble, and blood. lockets filled with pictures of old friends. constantly trying to hide something from someone. loving the aesthetic of cigarettes but hating the smell. marble busts of ancients. kissing art in front of art. French cuffs and sweaters. loving the feeling of doing whatever you want. the danger of existing.
